Echo gathering at Okhala Garbage Mountain and Tughlaqabad, New Delhi, 2013
In this ‘Echo Gathering’ at the Delhi’s largest dumping ground in the city’s periphery, the group walked with and were run over by other herds and animal groups that live and feed off Okhala garbage mountain. It also tried to conduct conversations using gestures with another (fictional) group that was simultaneously moving within the triangulation of Okhala Garbage Mountain, Tughlaqabad and rooftop of a high rise. The other group was barely visible, their worlds were not audible but their presence was determined.
